There are no countries that begin with the letter X. Currently, there are no sovereign states that begin with the letter X. However, there are two countries that have the letter X in their names: Mexico and Luxembourg. The letter X is the only letter in the alphabet that is not used as the first letter of a country’s name.

  • Xanadu Hills: The Xanadu Hills are part of the Denton Hills mountain range in East Antarctica’s Victorian Land.
  • Xizang (also spelled Tibet) is an autonomous region in China. It known for its high-altitude plateau and its cultural and religious traditions.
  • Xanthi is a region in the eastern part of the Greek region of Thrace.
  • Xalapa is a city in the state of Veracruz in Mexico.
  • Xarrë a small village in southern Albania
  • Xam Neua is the capital of Houaphanh Province, Laos, in northeast Laos.
