New Mexico
Next up is New Mexico. New Mexico is a state in the southwestern United States. It is bordered by Colorado to the north, Arizona to the west, Texas to the east, and Mexico to the south.
This state is home to some of America’s most beautiful landscapes, including Carlsbad Caverns National Park and White Sands National Monument. New Mexico is also home to several Native American tribes, including the Navajo, Pueblo and Apache.
New York
The third state beginning with the letter N is New York. New York is a state in the northeastern United States. It is bordered by Vermont to the north, Massachusetts to the east, Connecticut to the south, and the Canadian province of Ontario to the west.

Why Nebraska starts with N
In 1867, the United States of America admitted Nebraska as its 37th state when it was part of the Kansas-Nebraska Territory. At that time, the state of Kansas had already been established. So the territory took its name from the two states, with the letter “N” representing Nebraska.
